Investigators said from day one, the Victoria Martens investigation has been a case with more twists and turns than they have seen in decades. False confessions, negative drug tests and now even concerns over the autopsy have all contributed to what many are saying is a massive disservice to the victim — Victoria Martens.
“In my view, the district attorney was basically trying to salvage what he could from a pretty bad situation,” said KOAT legal expert John Day.
Day said the ball was dropped multiple times during this investigation.
